Three people were killed and injured by gunfire from one of their relatives in a dispute over a piece of land in one of the towns of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that citizen Hamid Qaid Daas and his son, lawyer Sami, were killed, and another person was injured by gunmen from their relatives called Awad Shaja Qaid Daas, following a dispute over a plot of land in the Al-Ahmol area in the Fara Al-Udayn district, west of Ibb.

The sources indicated that the perpetrator fled after committing the crime.

Ibb Governorate is witnessing a frightening escalation in land conflicts, compounded by the high value of land, the disruption of the judiciary, and the ambitions of the gangs of looting and organized robbery affiliated with the Houthi militia coming from outside the governorate.

These types of conflicts cause the death and injury of dozens annually in the governorate under the control of the Houthi militia, which is witnessing massive security chaos.
