During the launch of the electronic card for Taiz Police members
The Director General of Taiz Police, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhaly, confirmed that the smart electronic personal card with a unified national number is an important step towards building a database and information for the e-government.
This came during his inauguration, today, of the process of issuing an electronic personal card with a smart chip for members of the security institution in the governorate police, according to the army website "September Net".
During the inauguration, Brigadier Mansour Al-Akhaly was briefed on the procedures for issuing the electronic card, its workflow, and possible ways to overcome difficulties, stressing the importance of accuracy in entering data.
He stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior to follow up on its achievements in a way that serves the process of security, stability and development and documents the integrated data of the community to contribute to the process of planning, development and fair distribution of public services and benefit from government programs.
The Ministry of Interior launched the civil status system at the end of November 2023 to issue the personal card with a smart chip, in line with the government’s requirements and goals in the technological and electronic field to develop the information infrastructure.
