Today, Wednesday, the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party called on its members and supporters across Yemen to engage extensively with the campaign to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the party’s founding.
This came in a press release published by the Department of Information and Culture today, Wednesday, coinciding with the approaching 34th anniversary of the party’s founding, according to what was published by the “Al-Islah Net” website, the party’s mouthpiece.
The department extended its congratulations and blessings to the members of the Islah Party, its supporters and lovers, and all the partners in the struggle from the various political forces in the country who are struggling together to preserve the national identity and the republican system with all its gains and conditions.
Al-Islah media explained that the celebration of the occasion will begin at eight o'clock in the evening of tomorrow, Thursday, September 12, 2024, under the hashtag: #34th_anniversary_of_the_founding_of_Al-Islah, and will continue for three days.
She stressed that celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the reform is a celebration of the birth of a new September era, linked to the unity of the people and the land, and associated with democracy and political pluralism, as a national achievement that is one of the gains of the September 26 Revolution and the republican system.
She pointed out that Islah, along with all its comrades in national action, fought a national epic during all these years of its life, in which it derived its determination from the will of our people, who are committed to all of their achievements that have been made, and which they do not accept to be touched or diminished.
The Islah media figure expressed her hope that the 34th anniversary of the founding of Islah would be the beginning of a new era, “in which all the aspirations and rights of our struggling nation and people would be achieved, most notably the restoration of their kidnapped state.”
It is noteworthy that the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party was founded on September 13, 1990, and its announcement coincided with the announcement of Yemeni unity. Its announcement came in the month of September, known as the month of the revolution, to remind people of its role in confronting the Imamate, both in the past and in the present.
