A fifty-year-old citizen was shot dead by one of his neighbors, in Yarim District, north of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), in the latest land disputes in the governorate under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia.

Local sources said that the citizen (Ahmed Muhammad Thabet Al-Yamani - 53 years old) was killed yesterday, Sunday, by the bullets of one of his neighbors named (Muhammad Musaed Al-Samoui - 73 years old) following a dispute over the borders of land in the village of (Dakhlet Al-Masalama) in the Eryab district, in the northern Yarim District. dad.

The sources added that a dispute broke out between the two neighbors over the borders of their land, which developed into the perpetrator shooting the victim, leading to his death.

The sources indicated that the people were able later last night to convince the perpetrator to surrender himself to the relevant authorities.

Land disputes are one of the most common causes of killing in the governorate, where land values are the highest in the country, and their incidents in recent years have caused hundreds of deaths and injuries.
