Ibb: Yemen Shabab Net - Exclusive
The terrorist Houthi militia cut off public water supplies to large neighborhoods in the city of Ibb, the center of the governorate of the same name (central Yemen).
Local residents in Al-Dhahar District, the center of the governorate, complained to “Yemen Shabab Net” about their continued suffering as a result of the terrorist Houthi militia cutting off public water from large neighborhoods of the city for weeks.
Residents added that the Water Corporation is cutting off the project from various neighborhoods of the city for several weeks, despite the double increase in water prices.
Residents pointed out that some neighborhoods have not had access to water for about a month, which has led them to rely on rainwater to manage their lives.
It is noteworthy that, in recent years, the Houthi militia has increased the price of water by about five times, and imposed an increase in the royalties added to the consumption bill, despite international organizations ensuring that the corporation’s pumps and wells are supplied with fuel and solar energy systems.
