Cabinet meeting in the interim capital Aden
Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak stressed that completing the restoration of the state and ending the Houthi coup is an irreversible goal if the terrorist Houthi militia and its supporters in Tehran do not submit to a political solution.
This came during his chairing of a cabinet meeting, today, Wednesday, in the interim capital, Aden, according to the Saba News Agency.
According to the agency, the Council of Ministers praised the high readiness of the armed forces and security forces in all their formations, to deter any escalation by the Houthi militias on various fronts and axes, and to thwart terrorist plans.
The Council approved the establishment and management of the Khor Ambikha wetland in Al-Mukalla District, Hadhramaut Governorate, as a nature reserve, and assigned the Ministers of Legal Affairs and Water and Environment to complete the necessary legal procedures and submit them to the Prime Minister for signature.
The decision aims to protect biodiversity in the Khor Mbekha area, provide sound management of natural resources, protect threatened and rare species, and fulfil obligations towards the International Convention on Wetlands.
The site contains many species of plants, birds, and others, which constitute a great potential for preparing it for environmental and educational tourism. It is considered a living museum of ecosystems, especially wetland ecosystems.
The Council discussed the latest developments in the political situation and peace efforts, the continued obstruction of all efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the regional and international communities, its escalating terrorist attacks against shipping vessels and international shipping lines, and its attempt to target the Safer oil facility.
The Council also reviewed a number of issues related to the service, economic and living conditions of citizens, and developments in the political, military and security situations, in addition to the topics on the agenda, and took the necessary decisions regarding them.
