Foreign Minister discusses with British official support for peace efforts in Yemen and developments in the region

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaye Al-Zindani, discussed with the Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa at the British Foreign Office, Hamish Falconer, on Tuesday, support for peace efforts in Yemen, and developments in the region.

This came in a phone call, during which they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, areas of cooperation between them, and ways to develop and enhance them in various fields, according to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).

The two sides discussed the latest developments in the region, the efforts made to stop the escalation by the Houthi militias, and support the efforts made to achieve peace in Yemen.

For his part, the British Minister of State reiterated his country's strong support for the Yemeni government and its aspirations to achieve what the Yemeni people aspire to.

Falconer explained in a post on the X platform that he had important discussions with the Yemeni Foreign Minister on the need for stability and security in the region, as well as areas of mutual cooperation.
