Amidst popular unrest in the governorate, Hadhramaut Governor meets with the leadership of the Legitimacy Support Coalition

Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout bin Madi met on Thursday with the leadership of the Saudi Arabia-led coalition to support legitimacy in the city of Seiyun, headed by Assistant Lieutenant Colonel Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Tarifi, amid popular unrest in the governorate as a result of the deterioration of services for several weeks.

During the past few days, the governorate has witnessed continuous popular protests, burning tires, and closing of main roads in the city of Mukalla, in denunciation of the continued deterioration of the power outage service, and the absence of practical solutions to solve this dilemma.

The governor, Bin Madi, called on the leadership of the coalition to meet with them, to try to find solutions and treatments for the problems that the governorate is experiencing, which has been reflected in the general situation within the governorate that it has been experiencing for several months.

During the meeting with the coalition leadership, Governor Bin Madi reviewed the conditions of the governorate and the efforts of the local authority to provide services and support plans to establish security and stability with the support of the coalition, according to what was reported by the government's Saba Agency.

According to the agency, during the meeting, the level of implementation of the programs and interventions of the King Salman Center for Relief and the Saudi Program for the Reconstruction and Development of Yemen was reviewed, and the role of the coalition in supporting efforts to enhance security and combat terrorism was addressed.

Governor Bin Madi expressed the gratitude of the leadership of the local authority and all the people of Hadhramaut for the efforts and humanitarian, developmental, relief and military assistance provided by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

He also appreciated the coalition's positions in support of legitimacy with the aim of liberating all Yemeni territory from the terrorist Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime.

For their part, the brothers in the leadership of the coalition from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed their satisfaction with the development efforts and the preservation of security and stability in Hadhramaut.

They stressed the continued interest and support of the coalition leadership for the military and security institutions, appreciating the efforts of the local authority leadership in the governorate and its preparation for the climate for achieving development and maintaining security and public tranquility.
