Sana'a: Yemen Youth Net - Special
Houthis storm the home of a leader of the Islah Party in Sana'a
On Saturday, the terrorist Houthi militia stormed the home of former member of parliament and leader of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party, Sheikh "Shaker Hassan Al-Hatari", and expelled his children in the capital, Sana'a, which is under its control.
Badr, the son of Sheikh Al-Hattari, confirmed to "Yemeni Youth Net" that a Houthi militia vehicle, accompanied by three civilian cars, one of which was carrying "Zainabiyat" women, broke the locks of the house this morning, stormed it, terrorized the women and children, and expelled them from the house located in the Ghoul Al-Sheikh neighborhood in the Shu'ub district in the capital, Sana'a.
Al-Hatari added that the militias had seized the house three days ago and wrote on its walls, “Seized by the Specialized Criminal Court.”
It is noteworthy that Sheikh Shaker Hassan Al-Hattari, a former member of the House of Representatives and a leader in the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party, has been residing in the Netherlands for years.
Since the Houthi militia coup, it has confiscated, seized and looted hundreds of homes and properties of civilians and political opponents in areas under its control, most of whom are from the Islah Party.
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, strongly condemned the storming of the home of Sheikh Shaker Hassan Al-Hatari in the kidnapped capital, Sana'a, by the terrorist Houthi militia affiliated with Iran, after smashing the doors and windows, looting its contents, and expelling his family by force of arms, in a heinous crime that once again highlights its criminal nature and the falsehood of its claims of supporting "Gaza", and that its crimes and violations are no less criminal and hideous than the practices of the Israeli occupation.
Al-Eryani explained in a press statement that the Houthi militia's storming of Sheikh Al-Hatar's house, who has been residing in the Netherlands for years, which came after issuing orders to seize and confiscate the house, falls within its attempts to break the will of the Yemenis and subject them to its coup project and extremist ideas imported from Iran, and reveals its true face as a terrorist organization that does not believe in coexistence and cannot be a real partner in building peace.
Al-Eryani pointed out that since the coup, the Houthi militia has adopted a policy of confiscating and blowing up homes and forcibly displacing their residents as a method and approach to terrorize citizens and take revenge on its opponents, as human rights organizations have documented its bombing of (900) homes of state leaders, the army, security, politicians, media professionals, human rights activists, sheikhs and citizens in (16) Yemeni governorates.
Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, its special envoy, and human rights organizations to explicitly condemn this heinous crime, and to immediately begin classifying the Houthi militia as a "global terrorist organization," drying up its financial, political, and media resources, and devoting efforts to supporting the government to impose its control and establish security and stability throughout the national territory.
