Starlink Satellite Internet Company Announces Official Launch of Operations in Yemen

Today, Wednesday, the management of Starlink, the satellite internet service company, announced the official launch of the service on Yemeni territory.
The company's owner, Elon Musk, said in a post on the X platform that the company began its official broadcast at dawn today.

For its part, the Yemeni Telecommunications Corporation said, "The Starlink service has been officially activated in the territory of the Republic of Yemen . "
Last Tuesday, the corporation announced that it would soon announce the prices of devices and packages for the Starlink satellite internet service, through its official platforms only.
Activating this service will end the Houthi militia's monopoly on the Internet throughout the country.
