"I'm Coming Home"... A Touching Video from Al-Qassam to the Families of Israeli Prisoners (Watch)
Gaza| 5 September, 2024 - 5:18 PM
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast a new video titled "I am returning home", which includes messages from Israeli prisoners held in the Gaza Strip.
The video begins with scenes of the return of the bodies of Israeli prisoners killed in raids launched by the occupation on the Gaza Strip, with footage of their families welcoming with tears and sobs the bodies of their relatives who were killed during their captivity in the Strip.
The video included messages from the six prisoners - who were recently killed in a tunnel - to their families, the government and Israelis in general. One of them said: "My country, Israel is trying to bomb us without stopping," referring to the ongoing Israeli raids on the Strip. Another added: "Bring us back to our homes without losing a hair from our heads if you can," criticizing the failure of Israeli attempts to release them.
The video featured a message from one of the female prisoners addressed directly to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which she reminded him of the Gilad Shalit deal in which 1,000 Palestinian prisoners were released, and she asked: “Now the resistance is demanding less than a quarter from each one of us. I am unable to understand. Am I worth less?”
Another prisoner expressed her fear of the ongoing Israeli bombardment, wondering if she would make it out alive, while another prisoner confirmed: “We just want to go home.”
time is running out
The video concluded with a clip of Netanyahu saying: “Since the beginning of the war, we have been working tirelessly to bring them home, to bring them all back. When I say all, I mean all of them.”
The video ended with the hashtag "Time is running out" written in three languages: English, Hebrew and Arabic.
