Qassam Brigades attacks Israeli military operation headquarters in northern Gaza Strip

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that its fighters attacked the headquarters of the Israeli military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, killing and wounding its members.

The Qassam Brigades added that the attack near the Jabalia camp club was carried out using an anti-fortification TPG shell, explaining that after that, Qassam fighters clashed inside the headquarters with an Israeli force, using medium and light machine guns, and Qassam announced that it had killed and wounded members of the Israeli force.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters monitored the landing of two evacuation helicopters, noting that the headquarters of the Israeli military operation is equipped with "Lotus" cameras with a range of 45 kilometers.

On October 5, the Israeli army began unprecedented bombing operations on the Jabalia camp and town and large areas in the northern Gaza Strip, before announcing the start of its invasion the next day.

With American support, Israel has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 143,000 dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Tel Aviv continues this war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
