The head of the Aviation Authority inspected Seiyun Airport
Today, the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Captain Saleh Salim bin Nahid, stressed the necessity of completing the necessary procedures to operate additional internal and external lines at Sayun Airport.
This came during his inspection of the administrative and technical work progress at Sayun International Airport, according to the government agency Saba.
The Chairman of the Authority heard from the Director General of Sayun International Airport, Ali Bakathir, a detailed explanation about the progress of work, the level of implementation of projects at the airport, and the difficulties facing the progress of work.
Captain Bin Nahid stressed the importance of carrying out the work in accordance with studies and technical specifications, directing the speedy completion of development projects approved in accordance with the plans and programs of the Authority to develop and modernize airports, including Sayun International Airport.
The Chairman of the Authority stressed the importance of joint work and cooperation with various entities working at the airport, which contributes to achieving the goals set for operating additional internal and external lines at the airport.
The head of the authority urged everyone to exert more efforts and dedication to work.
This comes a week after the UN envoy announced an agreement between the government and the Houthis regarding reducing economic measures, increasing the number of flights from Sanaa Airport, and opening new destinations, including India and Egypt.
