The terrorist Houthi militia issued a decision to stop issuing licenses for new pharmaceutical facilities in the capital, Sana'a, and the rest of the areas under its control.

This came in a circular issued by Ali Abdul Karim Shaiban, Minister of Health in the Houthi government (unrecognized), yesterday, Monday, to the Ministry’s Medical Treatment Sector and health offices in areas controlled by the militia.

The Houthi instructions, in the document seen by "Yemeni Youth Net", stipulated stopping the issuance of any licenses for new pharmaceutical facilities in areas under the militia's influence.

The document indicated that work under these instructions will remain in effect until a new law on medicine and pharmacy is issued.

For years, the Houthi militia has been seeking to eliminate the pharmaceutical and drug sector in the name of the Central Pharmacy, which is affiliated with the Supreme Authority for Medicines, which has also transformed from a role of oversight and supervision to a role of investment and monopolizing the market by force.
