Two people died in two separate incidents, a house collapsed, and 173 displaced families were affected by the rains and floods that have been hitting Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) for several days.

Today, Friday, the local authority in Ma'rib Governorate launched an urgent distress call to relief organizations operating in the country, to rescue the displaced people affected by the torrential rains that fell on the governorate early this morning and are still continuing at the time of writing.

The Executive Unit appealed to humanitarian organizations to provide urgent assistance to affected families in the city crowded with displaced persons.
