Two soldiers were killed and another was injured last night in two separate attacks by elements believed to belong to Al-Qaeda on positions of the Transitional Council forces in Abyan.

The operations of bulldozing the lands of Socotra Island by Emirati institutions are expanding. These operations did not stop at buying lands from citizens at a low price through brokers affiliated with the Transitional Council, but they expanded to include the seizure of lands on which the state has government plans to establish development projects.

The Jaadna tribes in Abyan Governorate announced, on Wednesday, that the international line in Abyan will be cut off to military vehicles and mechanisms belonging to the coalition and the Transitional Council, starting today, Thursday, until the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, who has been forcibly disappeared for five months, is revealed.
