On Sunday, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, held an emergency meeting with the Supreme Security Committee, as part of the Council’s efforts to enhance security and stability, and facilitate the efforts of the government and the Central Bank in managing the economic, service, and financial conditions.

The Security Committee in Taiz Governorate discussed, in its meeting today, Monday, headed by the Governor of the Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, various security issues, most notably confronting the terrorist Houthi militia’s plans aimed at destabilizing security and stability and its desperate attempts to penetrate the internal front.

The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, President Rashad Al-Alimi, held a meeting with the security committee in Taiz Governorate, and also visited a number of battlefronts, at the conclusion of his visit to Taiz, which he began on Tuesday.

On Saturday, the security committee in the temporary capital, Aden, issued an explanatory statement regarding the events that accompanied the demonstrations that took place in the Khor Maksar district on Saturday afternoon, blaming what it described as “infiltrating elements” responsible for provoking riots and chaos.
