Al-Hadd Primary Court in Al-Hadd Yafa’a District closed its doors to citizens’ cases in protest against violations of its duties by the President of the Lahj Governorate Court of Appeal.

A meeting in Lahj Governorate on Tuesday approved the formation of a committee consisting of the governorate’s competent government offices to follow up and evaluate the level of achievement in modern industrial projects, and address their obstacles, in order to start operating them.

Al-Hawtah Primary Court in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen, resumed work today, Tuesday, after a day of strike, against the backdrop of the assault on the court president.

Yesterday, Sunday, the president, judges and employees of the Al-Hawtah Primary Court in Lahj announced the suspension of work in the court and the start of a strike, after the president of the court was assaulted by one of the disputants and his relatives, and the security director released them after they were placed in the central prison.

The Director of the Civil Service and Insurance Office in Lahj Governorate, south of the country, Muhammad Madas, said that the number of civilian employees with dual and similar names in 17 administrative facilities in the governorate, who were monitored in the military sector, reached 1,029 employees.

The Supreme Council of the Southern Revolutionary Movement strongly condemned the crime of arresting the head of its political bureau, Abdul-Wali Al-Subaihi, yesterday evening, by a military force affiliated with the so-called "Homeland Shield" in Lahj Governorate, in the south of the country.
