The Yemeni Bar Association confirmed, on Wednesday, its absolute rejection of any Houthi amendments targeting the independence of the judiciary, one day after submitting draft amendments to the Judicial Authority Law of the Republic of Yemen.

The Yemeni Judges Club, based in the capital Sana'a, condemned on Wednesday a Houthi decision to restore the defunct Imamate judicial system, in a statement issued in response to the Houthi draft amendments to the Judicial Authority Law, which began to be discussed on Tuesday.
