The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has stipulated that Yemeni children under the age of fifteen must obtain a polio vaccination certificate for entry into its territory.

Yemenia Airlines said in a message addressed to local travel agencies yesterday, Monday (Yemeni Youth Net confirmed its authenticity), that the Jordanian authorities have stipulated that all Yemenis under the age of 15 must obtain a polio vaccination certificate to enter its territory.

According to the document, the Jordanian authorities stressed that the certificate must be issued no more than one week before travel.

Yemenia Airlines indicated that, according to these requirements, any passenger under the age of 15 will be returned unless he obtains this certificate, holding violators fully responsible.

These measures come after the outbreak of polio in Yemen, following the Houthi demonization campaign against vaccination and immunization teams. These measures will cause new difficulties for travelers to Jordan, most of whom are patients, and will put them in an open confrontation with the Houthi militia, which prohibits and prevents vaccination campaigns in areas under its control.
