Taiz.. Security Committee discusses efforts to thwart Houthi terrorist militia plots

The Security Committee in Taiz Governorate discussed, in its meeting today, Monday, headed by the Governor of the Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, various security issues, most notably confronting the terrorist Houthi militia’s plans aimed at destabilizing security and stability and its desperate attempts to penetrate the internal front.

The meeting, which included the governor's deputy for defense and security affairs, Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sabry, the chief of staff of the axis, Major General Abdul Aziz Al-Majidi, and the leaders of the military priority and security services in the governorate, reviewed the directives of President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, which addressed various issues, their programming and timing, according to the Yemeni News Agency "Saba".

The meeting called on the members of the Security Committee to rise to the level of challenges and work with dedication and sincerity, and to sharpen their resolve and stand against any disturbances that target the lives and public tranquility of citizens.

In the meeting, the Governor of Taiz stressed the need for vigilance and security readiness to thwart the destructive plans of the terrorist Houthi militia targeting the governorate and its people at various levels.

For his part, the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis spoke about the situation on the military fronts and the militias' continued targeting of residential neighborhoods, civilians and military sites, stressing that the heroes of the National Army confronted all failed attempts and responded with appropriate weapons to the militias.

The Director General of the Governorate Police, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhaly, reviewed a report on the security situation and indicators of the security campaign to prevent the carrying of weapons in order to confront breaches and establish order and law.
