Scout groups and military music roam the streets of Marib to celebrate national holidays

Today, Monday, the scout and guide teams in Marib Governorate participated with the Yemeni people in their weddings and celebrations on the 62nd National Day of the glorious September 26 Revolution, the 61st anniversary of the immortal October 14 Revolution, and the National Independence Day on November 30, 1967.

The scouting, youth and student teams, which included (1200) young men and women from various governorates of the Republic, carried out a scouting march that toured the streets of Marib city to the tunes of musical performances by the military band, of national anthems and joyful songs that inflamed the feelings of the masses who lined up on the sides of the streets and on the balconies of the houses, to greet those teams and the participants in the youth march.

The march started from the Banks Roundabout and Aden Street, passing through a number of the city’s streets until it reached Al-Qardaei Roundabout on University Street, where flags fluttered and chants were chanted, expressing the great cohesion among the people and the greatness of the September and October revolutions in the souls of the Yemenis.

During their reception of the participants at the end of the route, the First Deputy Governor of Marib, Ali Lafatimi, along with the Director General of Youth and Sports, Ali Hashwan, and the Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Ashoul, expressed their pride in the great Yemeni revolutions and what they represent in terms of high human value, as they came to liberate the Yemeni people from the darkness of a tyrannical priestly Imamate rule and hateful colonialism, which made the people languish in a swamp of ignorance, injustice, backwardness and slavery, and suffer from the woes of hunger, poverty, disease and isolation from the world.

They pointed out that the Houthi practices made the generations of the revolution realize the greatness of the revolution and the sacrifices of the free revolutionaries, noting the growing momentum of citizens to celebrate the glorious September 26 Revolution every year more than the previous one in the areas controlled by the terrorist Houthi militias despite the brutality, abuse and terrorism against everyone who celebrates that occasion.

They also pointed out that the citizens of those areas celebrated this great revolution since early September, and they were not stopped by the methods of killing, brutality, arrests and forced disappearance, which reveals the extent of the rise of popular awareness of the value of the revolution and their adherence to it and their rejection of the Houthi militia and its dark priestly project and terrorist ideology.

The march reflected the great cohesion between the people and their defense establishment, the greatness of this occasion in their souls, and their loyalty to the sacrifices of the free men who made its bright dawn for Yemen and the people.

For their part, the citizens expressed their joy on this great occasion and their adherence to the goals and principles of this immortal Yemeni revolution, stressing the importance of lining up to eradicate the remnants of the Imamate represented by the Houthi militia supported by Iran.

The citizens renewed their pledge to continue on the path of the free to complete the achievement of the goals of the revolution, foremost of which is eliminating the remnants of the imamate and colonialism, defending the revolution and its gains, and completing the achievement of its goals, no matter the sacrifices.
