Shabwa: Yemen Youth Net - Special
A citizen was killed today, Saturday, by gunmen from tribes in the Bayhan district of Shabwa Governorate (southeast of Yemen), as a result of an old blood feud.
Local sources said that tribal gunmen believed to be from the Al Khalifa Al Kazmi tribe opened fire on citizen Mohammed Saleh Al Diouli in the Bayhan market, west of Shabwa, killing him.
The sources attributed the reason for Al-Diouli's killing to a feud between the two parties that occurred five years ago in the city of Ataq.
Since the UAE-backed Transitional Council forces took control of Shabwa Governorate more than two years ago, the governorate has witnessed security chaos, with increasing rates of domestic murders and tribal revenge cases.
